Privacy Policy
We here at PostJockey are very sensitive to issues surrounding privacy.
Issue: Lack of Privacy
Given the amount of information that's stolen from websites, any promise not to share personal information serves mainly to mislead because there's still the real chance that it might be obtained by someone unlawfully, or illegally. As far as we're concerned, if someone obtains information that's private, it doesn't matter how it happened. In all cases it results in feeling a "LACK OF PRIVACY".
Rather than having a "Privacy Policy" that just protects PostJockey.com from potential liability, we also want to protect you from experiencing a "LACK OF PRIVACY".
Addressing the "Lack of Privacy" Issue:
We don't want to promise that we will not share your private information, only to have that information stolen at some point. We don't want you to fall into the comfort trap that your "private" information will forever remain private. So, we've designed PostJockey.com such that the only information we consider "private" is your password, which serves as the key to making changes to the information you choose to share. Everything else on this site, including any information you store, draft, publish or otherwise is public information.
This way, even if someone obtains your password, they might only alter or delete information that you understand to be public information. We'll do our best to keep that from happening, but if at any time you feel, or you believe someone has gained access to your account, please contact us immediately.
